Hey there! This is Oscar Lopez, from Barcelona, Spain. I am a videogame lover and a passionate indie Videogame Developer. In 2019, I moved to China as a Senior Project Manager and co-leader of the International Team at NetEase Games Shanghai. After almost 4 years in NetEase Games, I am now looking for new opportunities in the videogame production & management field.
I always liked to understand how things work. Not knowing that pursuing a career in videogames was even possible I decided to commit to the understanding of machines and production processes.
While studying my Engineering degree I had the chance to travel to Korea and study one semester in the best university of South Korea, Seoul National University.
Learning about Managing business and teams through hundreds of of management cases across many diverce disciplines. Esade's MIM is ranked 5th World's Best Master in Management by The Financial Times.
Weihai, Shandong, China, there is wher I started my career in project management, helping out Spanish companies enter the Chinese market. Liked the job but the dream to make videogames became to intense to ignore it any longer.
Decided to pursue a career in videogame production and management, but no one wanted to hire me. So, I decided to go back to study and to become a great programmer.
Got my first chance in the industry working at the mobile division of Take2, SocialPoint. Starting, like many others before me, in the QA Department.
After completing my internship I was given the opportunity to work as Producer and lead my first project.
Hungry for bigger projects decided to leave Barcelona and move to Shanghai to lead a newly created International Team.
